
Reality is the state of things as they actually exist. Reality shows claim that they are acutally real and that the fact that a camara is recording 24/7 does not affect the behaviors of the people "participating" in the reality show. Over the past few years reality shows have become more populular, having audience even higher than the news. The question is how real are reality shows? A reality TV show claim to have real and ordinary people instead of actors and actresses. People participating in reality shows supposed to present real life situations, but most of the time most people don't act the same when they have a camara in front of them. How did producers of reality shows chose who is in or not? Also most of the time they look for different personalities so their ideas and behaviors can crash adding drama to the show. Putting several strangers in a house, spending all day and night togheter is not real, in real life that does not happen. So the question is how real are reality shows? What makes something real or not real?
